I tried for 8 years to get my front lawn going. I tried seeding and sod and three different lawn care companies. It wasn’t until I got Mike Lee in 2018 “Design by Lee” then I finally had success. Mike continues to stop by and advise, even a year later. I feel that he has gone above and beyond what was expected and was extremely knowledgeable about landscape care.

Mike Lee and his team did a very professional job of transforming our densely wooded and steeply sloping backyard into a beautiful grassy area where we can enjoy many activities in the future. He took our suggestions and added his expertise in converting the area into a beautiful usable area. We would highly recommend Mike and his team for any landscaping needs you might have!

Very happy with Design by Lee! Mike drafted a great plan for our problematic yard. He and his team were committed to the job and worked on it and problem solved until it was perfect! Mike also transplanted a Japanese maple and landscaped with the right plants and shrubbery for our soil and installed an irrigation system to facilitate their growth. They're still healthy and look fabulous! Highly recommend!

We greatly enjoyed our experience working with Mike. We hired him last year to rebuild 2 beds in front of our house. Yes, his design was a hand sketch, but it easily conveyed his ideas for the beds. He was fast and knowledgeable and was very willing to work within our specific budget, when other landscape installers had pressured us to go over by double or triple our original scope. Mike helped us decide on a phasing plan so we could get the most of our dollars and provided a detailed plant list with the cost break down so we knew exactly where our money was going. His installation was quick and clean, and he followed up several times after installation, including a year later, to make sure all was well. Appointment was set in a timely fashion. He was able to work us in a few days later. Price was great! The work was completed in a few ours and it looked great!

Last fall we had Mike Lee build a paver patio with a curved seat wall and design & install a fairly large (32 trees/plants) garden area in our backyard at our new house in Simpsonville. Mike is very easy to work with and has vast knowledge of plants which he is happy to share with his customers. The work was done on time, as agreed, and at the stated very competitive price. We are very happy with the entire project and highly recommend Mike Lee for any landscape projects.

We asked Mike with Design by Lee to create a plan for our front and back yards. He thoughtfully and thoroughly chose great plants that bloom at different times of the year, and even stops by every quarter to fertilize and check on their progress. He also designed and installed our stone courtyard in the back, We love it, and it has added such value and beauty to the total look and feel of the backyard.
